What is a Virgin?
- Simply put, it is someone that has never seen the movie in a theater/venue with a live shadow cast before.
What if I have seen it a million times at home, though?
- Simply put, it is someone that has never seen the movie in a theater/venue with a live shadow cast before.
What if I’ve seen the Rocky Horror Show live before? Do I still count as a Virgin?
- Yes! The Rocky Horror Picture Show experience is much different from the live musical! Even though they are similar, they are not the same!
What is a Virgin Sacrifice, and should I be worried?
- A Virgin Sacrifice is a phrase we use when we (metaphorically) *pop* the virgins’ cherries for their first time seeing the movie live with a shadow cast.
- The “Sacrifice ” usually entails a game or silly act that typically has prizes for the winner(s).
- Should you be worried? No. You will never be forced to do anything you don’t wish to do. We are all about consent at The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Participate if you’d like.
- Typically only people over the age of 18 can participate in the games/acts. Occasionally, there may be a g featured sacrifice that all can participate in, though it’s not often.
What is a Survival Kit?
- A Survival Kit, also known as a prop kit or prop bag, is a bag packed with various items that can be used throughout the film to enhance your immersive experience.
